So I’ve spent some part of the last week dealing with life stuff such as driving various family members to their doctor’s appointments, which I am happy to do but does take time. Earlier this evening I was tempted to put off this doodle until tomorrow (the idea was conceived while chopping vegetables for soup). But then I came across a tell-it-like-it-is video by “Tao Jones” on Twitter (link to his Youtube channel) on the topic of “something for nothing” is a poison, with the reminder that “It’s not a sit and wait activity” (helping to expand the Bitcoin network, i.e. global adoption). I got inspired (butt kicked?) to head upstairs to the literal drawing table.

Although I’ve done the “bcash scammers” doodle-theme before, the repetition is intentional. The tide is slowly turning but this silly narrative is still out there, going strong in some circles. (I believe my piano teacher repeated “shoulders down, elbows out” and “dynamics!” for about a decade before it sunk in.) We have loads of work to do before the tipping point (or so-called BTC/BCH “flippening”, if you prefer), and it’s more making than taking.
