Several years ago, before we all succumbed to TeChNoLoGy (circa 2012?), I opted to trade in the gift of a smartphone (I’m reminded by the dear husband that it was a Samsung Galaxy S II, which I didn’t want at the time, because I only used a phone for phone calls!) in favour of an enameled cast iron pot. I figured that the pot would provide more utility in my daily life. This has proven to be the case as I still use the big red pot on most days to cook meals, and that smartphone model is long obsolete.
Let’s be honest, I have very little clue what @_unwriter and most of you (if you are a dev working on BSV) are doing these days on a technological level. I am not here for the TeChNoLoGy! But it’s very interesting to see things evolve from the innovator stage of the adoption cycle to applications that real businesses and real people will be using. And I’m always happy to be a guinea pig tester of apps when possible. Speaking of, there are so many new applications and platforms currently being built and tested on BSV that the doodler is falling behind…
